I take Critchley apart on Bad Cop No Donut Track 23 for this, however to show more clearly the shocking abuses this comment of hers lead me to dissect vocally, I have created this ...

Below are four sample crime reports, using your current training and intuition, at the end of each crime report please circle, what you deduce should be the NEXT step in your investigation:

NFA - No further action

CRIME REPORT 1

The alleged crime:
Mal comms/stalking with fear of violence.

The detail:
Forty, one-sided non threatening, non abusive messages, the most threatening being "my sons will speak to you if they see you, regarding how you have treated their mother".

Evidence offered:
Just the one side of a conversation (the 40 cherry picked messages). Phone download refused by victim.

Suspect:
No criminal history.

CRIME REPORT 2

The alleged crime:
Physical stalking with fear of violence

The detail:
Suspect journeyed 200 miles in order to stalk the victim. He gained evidence that he had been in her close vicinity (her street). He gained that evidence to share with her, so that she would not doubt that he was prepared to physically stalk her. He did this at a time that he was sending the victim abusive and threatening messages, he wanted her to be certain that he meant the threats.

Evidence offered:
The suspect's own email boast and proof that he had been on her street that day.
A neighbour statement confirming that, what he described her wearing and doing that day was correct.
Hundreds of abusive and threatening messages from the suspect from the same period.
Approx 10 audio recordings of abuse and threats from the suspect during the same period.

Suspect:
Police caution already in place for other offences against the victim.
Two past domestic violence arrests (other victims)

CRIME REPORT 3

The alleged crime:
Mal comms/stalking with fear of violence

The detail:
The suspect sent hundreds of abusive and threatening messages over a two month period. Also made hundreds of phone calls (460 in one 90 minute period at one point).

Evidence offered:
Entire conversation or approx 600 screenshots of abuse and threats, eg, FAT PROSTITUTE SLAG WHORE, I HOPE YOUR MOTHER IS DEAD, THERE IS GOING TO BE A BLOODBATH, WOMEN AND CHILDREN WILL GET HURT

The Suspect:
Caution already in place for past offence against the same victim.
Two domestic violence arrests (two other victims)

CRIME REPORT 4

The alleged crime:
Breach of a non mol order

The Detail:
The suspect had applied to have the non mol order set aside. The court that set the original order, ordered the suspect to forward the application documents to the other party. The victim in this alleged crime is the other party, and claimed this was a breach of the order made by the same court.

Evidence offered:
One of the forwarded court documents

The suspect:
No criminal history.
